In recent years, the use of cannabidiol in the treatment of epilepsy is becoming increasingly studied, cannabis as an epilepsy treatment has also gained a huge amount of public attention and support, although, it’s still seen as a novel way to treat these disorders, with all the available evidence, maybe it’s time to make it the primary medicine, but that’s just a personal opinion.

Marijuana has, of course, been used for medical reasons for so many generations, easily thousands of years.

A huge amount of research has been carried out over for a few decades now, where professionals have been looking into the pharmacology of marijuana and its many compounds.

Using various outlets, researchers have enabled reviews, and studies of various literature regarding the history of cannabinoids in the treating epilepsy. It would appear as there are historical, as well as scientific evidence that would support the use of cannabidiol substances, at least in the treatment of rare severe epilepsy syndromes, if not as an overall treatment.
