A large amount of patients who suffer with diabetes will suffer from mild to serious pain symptoms. Pharmacological treatments can be effective, but seem to have reasonably poor results overall. There seems to be promising results surrounding Cannabidiol (CBD) as a way of controlling that pain.

There has been investigations into the effects of CBD on the on the mechanical allodynia in streptozotocin-induced diabetic (DBT) rats. Male rodents were given CBD for a couple of weeks, and were then tested. Results seem to be inconclusive at this stage. We’ve tried to do more research, but there does seem to be mixed opinions around about this topic, so we shall leave you a few links so that you can make up your own minds.
